When ‘m not on location you can find me in the studio doing family photography.
It is an honour to photograph families with many returning to the studio year after year
I love getting to see them grow and develop good relationships.
Tony and his family returned to the studio with their adorable children and the family dog.
We wanted to capture their personalities and show them having fun and love they have for each other.
My aim is to capture natural expressions.
It is very important that the family feel comfortable and relaxed so they can be themselves.
We started with simple poses, loving hugs which progressed to crazier shots of the children being tickled.
This generated immense laughter and fabulous photographs.
The photo booth style is great allowing you to dress up and really helps with pulling silly poses.
This creates a very modern and contemporary look which is a great alternative to traditional family photographs.
Being a huge animal lover (especially dogs) when they asked i they could bring the family dog along I jumped at the chance.
Amongst the props in the studio was a tiara, which we just had to use.
With a few treats we managed to capture the perfect pose.
Looking really cute but you could see the dismay in her eyes about wearing such a stupid thing.
We ended up with a range of looks and didn’t even need to change outfits.
I can’t wait for their next family photography shoot and am already thinking what ideas we can explore.
Sometimes shooting on location with the family is nice.
At different times of the year you can capture seasonal flowers, colours and moods.
These photographs have captured a moment in time that the family can remember and look back on for years to come.
