I was thrilled to photograph Jess and Steve’s wedding as Jess is a childhood friend from Chepstow.
The wedding had all of the elements for a princess fairy-tale using local venues and vendors.
St Marys Priory Church in Chepstow is stunning with high arched ceilings and stained glass windows.
It made the perfect start to their wedding day.

Clearwell Castle will always be one of my favourite venues offering such a wide variety of locations to photograph.
The wedding was later in the day so all of the bride and groom shots were taken in the evening giving a unique look to their images.
We managed to capture some dramatic and moody shots with the castle lit up in the background and even made use of the lovely new garden gazebo.
Princess Dresses with Dramatic Night Photography

With a castle wedding the dress choice in my opinion is always to go big and Jess did.
The daytime dress was a full princess fairy-tale netted number with flowers and Veil in all its glory, looking spectacular as the bride descended Clearwell Castles grand staircases.
For the evening Jess opted for a silk elegant dress which made dancing easier

Clearwell Castle was the perfect Setting for a grand reception.
The castle and grounds are so beautiful with incredible fine dining and exclusivity for the guests.
In Jessica's words
"It's every little princess girls dream"

Words from the Bride
"We met in 2001 in Chepstow on a night out and then got engaged during a candlelit meal on the beach in the Rivera Maya in Mexico in 2011."
"St Mary's Church, Chepstow is my family church and I was christened there as a baby and confirmed there by the Arch Bishop of Canterbury as a teenager."
"I also sang in the choir and rang bells there. I felt the church had true family roots and felt close to my mother who sadly passed in 2011."
"Jessica"
