Llanerch Vinyard WeddingWith Natural Style
Bubbles, balloons, DIY & torrential rain

Where better than a fully functional vineyard to remember your day?
Llanerch Vineyard in Cardiff is a fantastic wedding venue and a dream to photograph and they even have there own fine Cariad wine.
Even more importantly it's hard to find wedding venues that allow dogs yet Llanerch embraces it and even lets them attend the ceremony. This made it the perfect venue for Laura & Andy because Snowy is a special part of the family.
Laura, Andy and I were on the same page with the feeling they wanted for their wedding day
The light, whimsical styling was perfect for the bohemian, festival feel.
A layered net wedding dress, Kurt Geiger shoes and bridesmaids in various pastel colours. By taking some of these accessories outside I was able to capture some amazing pictures in the vineyard, enhancing an already beautiful story.
All of the guests had bubbles which allowed for some great group shots and later added an element of fun to the bride and groom pictures.
To my delight the happy couple had huge pink and white helium balloons! As the rain got heavier I wanted to get a few safe (dry) images so used the marquee which had great clean light. For a little added interest I set up some back lighting to compensate for the lack of sunshine.
With the guests drinking and relaxing, I was amused to find Laura putting the finishing touches to the cake an hour before reception, talk about DIY bride.

As the rain increased it could have put a dampener on proceedings, however Laura's smile didn't leave her face. Laura and I persuaded Andy it was a good idea to venture to the lakes for photos. Ok, we didn't quite manage to get there as we got soooo wet, but I got some great photos en-route, had plenty of fun and it certainly wont be forgotten!

As the rain eased and with my shoes still soggy I took the couple to the grape vines for the must have image. It was amusing trying to manoeuvre the helium balloons though the hotel corridors, but you cant say I don't make you laugh on the day!

As the evening guest arrived the sky cleared allowing a festival to really kick off. With impromptu performances on the ukulele and a female dj getting people to throw some moves on the dance floor it ended the perfect day.
